"First" curry-culum meeting

dear brothers and sisters

Due to the unexpected flooding in the city, the official meeting last night was not held. however, since Rafeeq, Ibrahim and myself were at the masjid we discussed a few ideas. Nothing ground breaking or world-changing ideas here nor was it really geared at the curriculum (due to the absence of many of our brothers). Rather these ideas were what we are currently using as parents for our (ibrahim, Rafeeq and Masroor) kids.

1. Lego-type toys

2. Action songs (see youtube for more info, perhaps rafeeq can post some links for this)

3. Arabic language nasheeds (youtube links will be posted by myself, shortly)

4. One brother has arabic cartoons with hadith and quran from Syria. While it is on disk we will try to upload onto the blog or provide a link to it.

We also discussed doing a web conference rather than having to travel. It will save us a LOT of time and some amount of money. For those of ou who are IT inclined, please get us a solution as soon as is reasonably possible.
