Assalamu alaikum.
I think we should start a blog roll which will be displayed as links on our blog.There is a lot of stuff out there.. we need to spend a lot of time sifting through all the stuff and picking out things that will suit our needs.Just came across this blog called Umm Abdul Basir’s.

Assalamu alaikum.Just came across this website.I am not sure how useful this resource is, but it seems like a good place to start as far as general history is concerned.There is a section on Islam as well..that might be a good yardstick to measure the usefulness of the site.
